janusSEAL for Outlook

janusSEAL for Outlook forces your end-users to select and apply a security classification to each and every email they send from Microsoft Outlook (or Outlook Web Access).  It is centrally deployed and configured via via Group Policy and allows:

  • The sender of a message to apply classification labels to the message

  • Displays email classification information to a recipient of a message containing a protective marking.

  • SafeDomain Extension - warns and/or prohibits users from sending messages to domains where the delivery channel does not have a high enough security rating for the message.

  • JanusGATE integrates directly with Microsoft ActiveSync to manage email being sent to ALL mobile devices - including iPhone, iPad, Andriod, Symbian, Blackberry with Exchange Client, Windows mobile and more.

The classification label can be checked by gateway email content filters and document management systems to enforce security, privacy or information management policies for appropriate transmission, encryption, retention and archival.

Below is a key feature summary.  For a comprehensive feature list, see here.

When composing messages, the email sender can specify the security classification while writing the message:

or they are forced to classify the message after clicking send.
